Whilst in the USA, we recently came across some pitbulls for sale and it prompted us to take a look at some of the video’s available showcasing these lovely little puppies. Whilst they are controversial dogs in the UK, there’s no denying their cuteness when they’re small as can be seen in our picked out video below:

The pitbull is generally a breed of dog which is associated with power and strength, but there is a definite loveable side to these dogs, despite them currently being banned from being kept in the UK. For more information on the legalities of keeping a pitbull in the UK, please see the DEFRA website.

That aside, we’re fascinated by pitbulls and the pitbull puppies for sale which we recently came across whilst in the USA left us wanting more information on the breed. Here’s some more of our favourite video’s of these pups:

That is definitely something we’ve all always wondered and something which we were discussing just the other day! With the recent showing of Crufts on the TV, we all want our pets to perform like they do there, following our every command and doing everything we say. However, in reality, we all know that this isn’t always as easy as it looks and most of our dogs would end up doing this (taking a poo on national TV):

But, back to the point … is it possible to teach an old dog new tricks? Whilst it isn’t the hardest of tasks to teach tricks, obedience and agility to a puppy, teaching such things to an older dog is a much harder task. That’s not to say it’s not impossible, but it’s definitely much harder. It would take a lot of hours of training, however there is nothing more rewarding than seeing a dog who has not previously followed many instructions do exactly as you say!

We’ve heard of some great stories in recent weeks, from the dog who’d been taught to blow out it’s owners scented candles with his bark, to the dog who walked down the street on his back legs. We love hearing interesting things which dog’s (or indeed any animals) have been taught to do so please get in touch and let us know what yours can do!
